Bengaluru: The role of the cleaning staff is invaluable in making everybody live in society. “It is the duty of the civil society to respect those who have forgotten the enjoyment of their personal lives and dedicated themselves to public cleanliness,” Higher Education Minister Dr CNN Ashwattha Narayana said.

Speaking at a function in Malleswam hosted by the local BJP on Monday, he said that the cleanliness of the country was not in the big buildings. The toilet is clean and clean in the streets. He said the best way to make this possible is to pay the cleaning staff. Prime Minister Narendra Modi recognizes the cleanliness staff has contributed towards building a clean India and has brought a positive culture of respect and dignity. The cleanup staff is also provided with equal status and security, he said
