Bengaluru: Siddaramaiah has been selected for the Dr. BR Ambedkar Award given by Vidudalai Chirudaigal (VCK) party of Tamil Nadu every year.Sharing this information on his official social platforms, Siddaramaiah himself said, “This time, Vidudalai Chirudaigal (VCK) party of Tamil Nadu has selected me for the Dr. BR Ambedkar award given every year. My thanks to them. Party MP Thirumavalavan visited me today and received the award on July 30. Invited to come to Chennai” Tamil Nadu Vidudalai Chirudaigal Katchi (VCK) MP Thirumavalavan and other leaders met Siddaramaiah who arrived in Bengaluru on Friday. It is said that he was informed about his selection for the award and also invited to come to Chennai on July 30 to receive the award. Vidudalai Chirudaigal Katchi (VCK) founder Thol Thirumavalavan had already announced his selection for various awards given by his party every year. Accordingly, former Karnataka Chief Minister and senior Congress leader Siddaramaiah will receive the ‘Ambedkar Sudar’ award.
