I have informed Prime Minister Narendra Modi of the Russian invasion of Ukraine, India has appreciated the assistance rendered to its citizens during the war and the direct interaction with Russia in the event. Zelinsky said he is grateful for the support he has given to the people of Ukraine.

Prime Minister Modi telephoned today for about 35 minutes with Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Oleksandrovych Zelenskyy. He thanked the Government for continuing its support for the safe migration of Indian citizens from Sumi

This is Modi’s third conversation with Ukraine’s president, who previously spoke with Zlensky after the vote at the United Nations on February 26. Prime Minister Modi will also hold talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
