Karnataka govt may go soft on enforcing restrictions

BENGALURU: The government is likely to go soft on enforcing Covid curbs , including night and weekend curfew, as several stakeholders, besides BJP legislators, are unhappy over the decision to extend restrictions till January 31.  An official said the government has asked authorities not to be harsh in terms of collecting fines from people for small violations. “But that does not mean people can take things lightly. They must behave responsibly,” he said.
